If you’re feeling in the holiday spirit (or need to get into it), tonight is the 37th annual Monumental Occasion in Mount Vernon. Good times kick off at 7:00 PM, but show up early for great food from local restaurants, strolling entertainment, and drinks at the neighborhood bars (yeah, I know it’s a Thursday, but it’s the holidays, man!).
More info here. Come on out, y’all!

Paths of Roland Park Before the onslaught of the automobile, it was popular to create pathways used by pedestrians to reach different areas of the neighborhood. As a result, the paths tended to make the neighborhoods more livable.
